Luohao Xu, a former Ph.D student in the Department, now a FWF Schrodinger postdoc fellow has recently published two papers on the journals Molecular Ecology Resources and Genes. One paper studies the sex chromosomes of Nile tilapia and blue tilapia, and the other compares the W-linked gene content across 27 different bird species.
